Using Digitech DF-7 Distortion Factory Pedal. Mainly the overdrive sound comes from the pedal but I thought it might be useful to others using the same setup as mine.
Guitar: ESP-MH 250NT; bridge pickup, max distortion, max tone.
AMP: VOX AD30; see setings.
Pedal: Digitech DF-7 Seeetings: Low 1 o'clock, Level 3 o'clock; Mid 10 o'clock, Mid Freq. 10 o'clock, High 1 o'clock, Gain 12 o'clock. Distortion model 5.
To get the sound from Symphony of Destruction on the same album I move the Gain on the amp up to almost 9 o'clock.
I tried to record it on my laptop but the sound was completely changed so I gave up.
