Détail du preset valvetronix -> Brian May : Queen - Brian May (wembley '86)

nom Queen - Brian May (wembley '86)
informations This was a setting that I discovered pretty soon after getting the amp. i think its extremely close to Brian May's sound. I use a burns red special with the bridge and middle pickups in phase and using an english sixpence as a plecturm! The treble booster section boosts the AC30 to give more overdrive and cleans the sound up a bit. This is set almost to full. I prefere the AC30 as opposed to the AC30TB, as its tone isnt as thin/sharp as the tp boost model. The chorus is used to give the sound a bit more thinkness and to make the clean sounds sparkle more. The delay does not have to be switched on... just for those Brighton Rock moments! And the reverb, of course, will make it sound less like your playing in a bedroom and more like a stadium... wembley, to be precise =) Use whatever volume setting you like. I would advise you not to have it too loud, unless you want paint peeling off walls and windows breaking!!
Hope this setting works for all you queen fans, it does for me. You can tweak it if you like, to improve it if you feel it neccessary, but hopefully this is just right! I will try and get an mp3 sample on soon. I am extremely pleased with my AD120 and hopefully it will serve me well, for years to come! It suits pretty much any musical style, but especially Queen/Brian May.
