This has worked pretty good on my strat for a nice, bluesy overdrive. Works pretty well on all three pickups, you just have to roll down the tone control a bit on the bridge to suit your taste. If you want a little more boost, throw an overdrive pedal into the mix. Adjust the bass to your tastes...I tend to tweak it between 9:00 and 11:00 depending on what I'm looking for at the time. You can adjust the gain between 9:00 and 11:00 too depending on how much clarity you want from your strings.
