VC-4 problem with AD60

Postby dlaf8682 » 09 Mar 2010, 16:21

I have used my VC-4 pedal with a tonelab in the past and it functioned correctly. Recently I sold it online to a guy with an AD60 who says it is not working properly. It does get power, but instead of the number of the bank (1, 2, 3, 4, 1', 2', 3', or 4') coming up, it just displays an 8' and all the other lights come on.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Have him try another Cat-5 cable.
G&L SC-3, Ibanez RG550, Epi SG, Fender G-DEC 3 30, Vox AD60VTX w/ VC12, Carvin XV112, Line 6 JM4 Looper, Vox ToneLab, Cry Baby, Digitech RP1, BBESS, Danelectro 7-band EQ, EHX Hum Debugger, Janglebox and Bad Monkey.

It isn't real unless you feel it!

He has tried 3 cables - all with pins straight through.

Could be his amp has a software glitch. He should try a factory reset to see if that 'clears' the problem.

Ditto, what "Voxman" says.

hey guys- did anyone ever determine a fix for this dreaded .8 showing up on the foot pedal? mine suddenly has all LED's lit, and .8- the pedal is inoperable. I tried new cables, and also did a preset reset (assuming this is the only software reset a consumer can do) Any further experience/info on this would be appreciated- dont want to take this to a service shop, have them charge me a bench fee just to tell me I need a new foot pedal.- Cheers!
