Tonelab ST through Valveking?

Postby jackandmeg2001 » 01 Jan 2011, 19:55

Hey, new here. I just bought a Tonelab ST, and I'm pretty happy with it by itself. Before my current setup, I was using a VT30 and was really happy with the tone, it was just too dang quiet. My current rig to rectify that problem is a Peavy Valveking 100 through the accompanying cab. I love it, but my biggest problem right now is that I get this terrible hiss and squeal no matter what I do, when I run through the effects loop or just in front of the amp. It sounds fine down low, but that defeats the point of what I'm trying to do.

tl;dr - how in the world do I fix this? Or do I just have to resign the pedal to recording use only?

Thanks!
