Tonelab SE Patch volume levels

Postby Deec16 » 09 Dec 2011, 18:55

Hi all, I'm new here.

I've just bought a Tonelab SE and would like to know if there's an easy way to ensure that any patches I create will all have the the same volume level? Rather than trying to judge it just by ear?

Thanks in advance. Great site by the way.

Welcome to the board & congrats on the TLSE.

One interesting method to set volumes the same for patches is to use a sound pressure meter - someone elses idea not mine I hasten to add. There was a free app I downloaded into my Samsung Galaxy S 'Android' phone. It's surprisingly effective & it's free!

Thanks for the reply Rich.

So there's no way of doing this other than comparing the volume levels of the patches after they've been written?

I was hoping I could just set them all to the same volume or something along those lines before saving them?

Thanks again,

Damian.
