Tonelab Desktop mod

Postby rjbee » 16 Mar 2009, 18:40

Has anyone ever tried to add an input jack to this unit in order to accomodate an ipod? I realize I'd need to access a schematic in order to modify the circuitry to accomplish this but it would really make this unit much more convenient to play along to. If someone could at least point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

On the mqain PCB, find IC5.

Connect the L and R signals from the Ipod to pins 2 and 6 via 10K resistors.

That should do it.

I can assume that left and right means tip and ring on the input jack correct?
