Hi all. Just wanted to chime in. I check in every oncest in awhile. I've had my TLLE for well over a year and it still inpires me to play. Just a bedroom player for now but suits me perfectly. Been playing around with the AC30, matching cab and some reverb and pretty much nails Rush's "Fly by Night". Sounds awesome. Love the UK68P, UK BLUES (JTM45) and the Tweed 4x10 (Bassman). This thing is such a gem.
Saw pic of Joe Bonamassa on stage with all his gear. Would be cool to have all that but that's what I've always liked about this TLLE and the whole Valvetronix concept - all these amps, cabs and effects at a fraction of the cost. Yes it's modelling technology but when you consider real amps are based on not just tubes and the interaction with the speakers but there is significant circuitry that goes into making of an amp sound. The TLLE and the V'tronix family is made much the same way - just a little differently.
Would I love to have a half dozen of JB's amps in my basement? Sure, who wouldn't. But, the TLLE gets me partly there and I'm more than happy with it. Great piece of equipment. And I've barely even used the expression pedal (vol or the wah) or 3/4 of the effects and modulations. I'll be playing this thing for years !
Keep up the good work Voxman (and Nik) and to all the other regular posters. Still a great site.
