I've finished steampunking a salvaged strat. Checked it and it plays. Posting a url to see the pics. Enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think of this first attempt.

AWESOME! Very creative, I would never have thought of door stops for strap buttons!

Can you motorize the gears?

I thought about a LOT of things but had to defer to practicality. Motorizing may have introduce interference and would have cause more problems than I'm ready for. I did think a handcrank to change the volume control might have been fun...
