Recording with a mic in stereo ?

Postby marty mcfly » 09 Feb 2010, 21:50

Hi all !!, i have a home studio with a M-Audio Audiophile 192 sound card, a phonic Am220 mixer and a C03 Behringher Condenser Mic, and of course, my chrome 50watts AD50 valvetronix with no loop send :(.

My question is !!! ???....i want to record my amp in protools like if the amp is doubled or in stereo. But i want to do this only in one take. In one track. I know i can record first one take, stop, then record again the same thing in another track and then pan the track 1 full to the right and the second track pan full to the left. But this is not what i want, i want to have that "stereo image" in one track on protools. How can i do this ???. With a Y cable ?. Please help....

Thanks a lot !!
Martin.
