Hi Guys, great forum. Lots of good info here.
I was reading about the nicely detailed NT Mod tutorials retrobob has posted for Night Train owners. Great stuff! It got me wondering how involved an Effects Loop Mod would be for the NT. I'm guessing not too easy since I can't seem to find any info on the idea here but I just thought I'd ask. Please advise. retrobob? Anyone?
Thanks!

It is a little more difficult, but an effects loop can be done for the Night Train. I'm a little busy at the present, I'll try to get to it shortly.

Oh that's excellent to hear! I hope you'll have a chance to work on it sometime, thanks retrobob! I'll definitely give it a go if it seems I can handle it, after my warranty runs out of course

We are in the designing stages of developing a plug-in FX Loop Mod that will work in the Night Train amp. So far the design looks very promising, the loop is a self contained passive design which mounts to the outside rear of the upper gage (tube covering), and it plugs-in. No soldering, no drilling, no cutting!

Simply remove the gage, remove a tube, plug the Loop Mod adapter in where the tube was, re-install the tube into the adapter, tighten a couple of screws that fasten the mod to the gage, re-install the gage and the loop mod is installed, could not be easier! This is still in the development stage, let me know if you are interested.

I'd really be interested in this. Be nice if you could come up with a module to make the thick switch into a footswitch and revoice it. I rather pay and mount a prefab unit than do the whole nine yards.
Let me know when these are available!

I'm glad you asked, and this is exciting!
We are working on a unique all tube circuit that will be self contained inside the loop mod, the tube circuit will complement the loop and amp it is plugged into.
YES, I said the Mod adds a TUBE driven FX LOOP, and it PLUGS-IN with NO SOLDERING required! Plus, this mod design will work in most tube amps!
It requires no amp chassis alterations, everything is in the mod so it won’t deface your amp (vintage or new), and it is completely reversible by simply unplugging it.
We are still in the development stages for this loop mod, as there have been some design changes that require a little more time to work the bugs out. However, we expect to have more info about this mod soon!
Stay tuned!
