Need help with looping

Hi I need help . I have a VT 1OO and want to connect a Boss RC-2pedal to the amp. When connected I want to play over a backing track and change the amps effects while playing so it would be backing track and solo over the top with wah pedal as well .Can this be done ? How is it connected ,in the main jack or the loop jacks at the back or both? Does that make sense? Thanks for your help?

Must be in the loop. then any changes to guitar tone/ effects wont effect the origional loops

Hi Bill thanks for that .Will a wah be able to be connected as well ? Am I righ in saying it will take 4 leads to make this work ?

wah should be in front of the amp, so three cables, well four including guitar to wah lol

so what order do the cables go in and where, as there is nothing in the manuals ?

Ok well guitar to wah pedal .pedal to amp input. from amp effects loop send jack to looper input, looper out put to effects loop input jack

ok cool no probs i have one in the effects loop of my blue 60w as well its good fun to use
