I have two 60 s vtx and vt far more portable, very loud especially with bbess and eq pedal, line out very good or can as you say be miked, why bother humping a 120 about lol. Anyway to answer your question .... yes vc12 will work just transfer settings across

Wow...found out my prob...band light bulb in garage. You would not believe how badly it effected sound. Amazing!!
