Yep, well aware of that, but the 100vtxl does a very convincing job with my simple set up, always get cool comments at the gigs about my killer tone, especially since i took the bbe out, it cuts through the mix better now, and when i tell them i'm using a modelling amp they dont believe me....pretty cool for what it is

After EQ too, but mine may be due to the fact that I use 21 + analog pedals in my setup and I found running the EQ and bbe to add so much more hiss and the bbe an utra high I couldn't take. Love the Ice pick in the fore head by the way.My ears don't take too kindly to high pitch any more after 40years of playing, might have been that Hiwatt stack, prefer more mids than treb and bass.I don't have to use the any of them in my 30 any more after the Telefunken!!

I wasn't trying to dis anyone. Just wanted to point out that BBE is probably not the only reason for digital sound. For some, the BBE may bring the digital sound out more to their ear. I always run the BBESS with my AD60VTX, but not always my "Fish 'N Chips" EQ. It's all a matter of preference.

Have fun!
