Hello everyone !
I am new to this site and I am so glad to have found it , So far it is AWESOME ! !
I am about to purchase my first Vox amp.
I have 2 choices , 1. a second hand ( in great shape ) Vox AD60VT with pedal for $385.00
2. a new Vox Valvetronics VT30 for like $290.00
I know that the AD60VT is much older and no longer sold any where as new and has plenty of presets and in the case comes with the pedal.
As for me , I am an intermedate player and the amp will be for at home and also practice with the band.
I hope you can help me and point me in the right direction as I have to make a dession soon !
Thank you !

Thank you Bill
Do you know if the AD60VT would have been made in the UK or in the States or in Japan ?
The sale of the AD60VT is through ebay . The pictures look like the amp is in great shape and the seller says it is in great shape as well. The seller was also selling a Vox VT50 and the seller told me that the AD60VT was a much better amp.
I just wanted a second or 3rd or 4th opinion etc... As I know nothing about these amps except that vox amps are Good ! I will be playing a Gibson SG on the amp if this helps .
Thank you

AD60VT is Korean.

Let me add another vote for the AD60VT. Not only does it have twice as much wattage (+3dB of sound), but it has separate pedal effects, modulation effects, delay effects and reverb effects in addition to 16 amp models, some of which are NOT on the VT30. Best of all, you get a 1/4" line out and effects send and return without a mod. Using an EQ & BBESS in the loop, you unlock the true tone of this monster. You can still dial it down to 1 watt for practice. Good luck with whichever you choose! P.S. Some AD60VTs are Korean, some are Vietnamese. The Koreans are the better ones.

You're getting a bit confused Bob - ALL AD60/120VT's are Korean. The VT's were open-backed cabs, chipboard construction, with Celestion 'voiced' speakers, no 8/16 Ohm extn cab switch. You're thinking of the AD60/120VTX range that replaced the AD60/120VT's (The VTX have closed back cabs, birch ply construction, Celestion 'Neodog' speakers & 8/16 Ohm extension cab switch) where VTX amps made in the last 9-10mths of production were from Vietnam - Vox moved production from Korea in an attempt to cut production costs. But spot on re the rest of your post!

Thanks for the correction Rich. I was under the false impression that both the VT & VTX series were shifted from Korea to Vietnam.
