I'm new in this forum so I want to say hello to everybody.
So, I have a little problem. I want to replace stock speaker in my vox AD30VT, but i don't know which will be better, Vintage or Greenback. I found on this forum that great number of people who changed stock to Vintage are very satisfied, but i didn't found any opinion about G10 Greenback. Maybe somebody can help me in picking a new speaker. Music that I play is rock or blues-rock, something like AD/DC.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Many like the Greenbacks, many others like the Eminence Ragin' Cajun. What sounds best to your ears and works best for your budget is what you should go with. Listen to different speakers and decide for yourself. Hopefully, you can find a store that has a setup to compare different 10" speakers.

Personally I find Greenbacks too dark - the Vintage 10 is good, but also a little dark - I particularly like the Ragin Cajun tone demo'd on the Eminence site.

I wonder has anyone tried an Emi Red Fang 10" or Ramrod 10", both British-influenced speakers.

If there's any way you can listen to the different speakers yourself, that's the best way to determine what you'll like! Opinions are great, but the one that really matters is yours!

Jensen C10Q is also worth a look, really nice (quite bright) sound.

I have 2 in my Laney VC30 - excellent speakers, with a great vintage tone.
