I think you mean 'amp modeling', rather than presets. You cannot bypass your Valvetronix amp modelimg as it's a modelling amp, & that's what it does. But why would you want to? The Valvetronix modelling is infinitely superior to the V-amp modeling.

I think I've explained this over a hundred times before - a modelling amp & a modeling MFX unit do not mix, as you'll just get mush & noise because the amp models will conflict. If you want more effects with your Valvetronix use a non-modeling FX unit. If you want to run your modeling MFX unit through an amp, you need a 'straight' amp.

Rich

(PS - please post in the correct forum - I've moved this over to the correct AD15VT-XL forum  )

Either use the glass preset, or as I asked in my thread, I would assume that if you did the send loop mod, then you could plug your v-amp into the return jack, therefore bypass the whole preamp section and just outputting to power amp section.

I have the Behringer V-Amp3 and played harmonica through it in place of an amp, straight to the desk and used foldback mix to hear myself. It was less to carry around and quick to setup, but I went away from this and brought a VT100XL. I now keep my V-Amp as a backup to the amp, if anything goes wrong I can adapt the leads and fit the V-Amp into the gig mix. The boys in the band like the tone the VT100XL has brought to the amp and prefer it over the V-Amp.
